The aim of the Guild is to preserve and extend the knowledge of the traditional skills of Shetland spinning, knitting, weaving and dyeing, incorporating all fleece and fibre crafts. Read more Shetland Story Telling Society was founded in 2002. Originally the group was formed to create a story telling festival to share tales of Shetland’s past. The festival was so successful in the first year that booking demands reached the limit and the group have been in constant demand ever since.
