Overview
Tangwick Haa, originally built in the late 1600s for the Cheyne family, owners of the Tangwick estate, was converted into a museum in the late 1980s and tells the story of Northmavine and its people through the years.
The museum offers visitors a variety of local artefacts and history.
The main display for 2011 is Education. Jewellery c. 1890-1980 is a minor theme; there is also a collection of photographs of boats of varying sizes, old and new.
The Haa has a family history area for researching local families and a garden with picnic benches to enjoy on the 'fine days'.
